Activity/Substitute Bus Driver

 

The district is looking for additional activity/substitute drivers to join our team! 

Interested in driving the basketball, football or track team, then this may be a job for you!

Be a SCHOOL BUS DRIVER for Orchard Farm School District 

• Training and competitive salary starting up to $27.25/hour.

Essential job duties including but not limited to:

• Transport students over specified routes according to an established time schedule
• Transport students to events and field trips
• Comply with traffic regulations
• Drive safely and professionally
• Enforce the students discipline code
• Perform required pre-trip inspections
• Supervise students while transporting them

Skills and Abilities

• Understand written and verbal instructions
• Able to read and interpret maps
• Able to write reports for pre and post trip inspections and student discipline

Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• Missouri commercial driver's license, reqired
• P& S endorsements preferred, will need to obtain within 20 days of hire.

Experience:

• Prior school bus experience, preferred.

**Must participate in all pre-employment screening including criminal background fingerprinting and  physical along with participation in annual DOT required drug and alcohol testing
